Site map
Every page of the site and the address it lives at: the four sections, their areas, and the rules behind the addresses.
The map
One website, four sections. EuroLeague is the default competition and lives at
the root; EuroCup, NextGen and Corporate live
under their own slug. News, video, teams, players, coaches, games, standings and stats are shared
areas that put the competition after the area, and every article, team, player and game
has exactly one address. Every address starts with /en; the map leaves it out so each
entry reads the same way.
How the sections are built in code is in Competition sections; this page is the map of what a reader can reach. It was drawn against the development site on 4 November 2026 and agreed with ELB as the site's structure.
The structure, page by page
The same map as a list. Each line is a page or a kind of page, with the pattern its address follows. EuroCup and NextGen are the same shape as EuroLeague; only the slug in the address changes. Everything is live on the development site unless it says otherwise.
EuroLeague — /
The default competition. Its homepage, pages, news and video carry no competition in the address; its sport areas sit at /…/euroleague like every other competition's.

- News
/news/corporate— Corporate news, grouped like any other competition's.
Standalone — outside the four sections
Pages that are not part of the four sections.
- Code of Conduct form
/code-of-conduct— Built, ready for the next release. On the main site rather than a subdomain. Replaces the third-party form whose contract ends in December. A fan signs in with their EuroLeague ID, picks a game of the round from Competition Engine and reports an incident.- Submission — email to EuroLeague — Proposed, for elb to confirm. Still to settle: who receives it, whether reports are stored, how reports naming people are handled. Until an email provider is chosen the form cannot send.
- Any old address
/news/x · /euroleague/about— Permanently redirects to the page's one address under /en.
The rules behind the addresses
Every address starts with /en
The map writes addresses without it: /teams/eurocup is /en/teams/eurocup on the site, and EuroLeague's home / is
/en. An old link without /en, or with EuroLeague in front (/en/euroleague/about), redirects permanently to the
page's one real address.
Pages go under the section, areas put it after
A content page sits under its section (/eurocup/<page>). News, video and the sport areas put the competition after the
area (/news/eurocup, /teams/eurocup). EuroLeague's news and video drop the competition.
Bare area addresses redirect
/teams, /players, /coaches, /games, /standings and /stats have no content of their own and redirect to
EuroLeague's list.
Categories are set up, tags are generated
A category listing is created by an editor at news/category/<category>. A tag page is generated from an article's
associations at news/tag/<tag>, whatever the competition or category, and is reached from the article.
One page, every competition
A team in EuroCup this year and EuroLeague next keeps one page; a player's statistics for every competition sit together. A player who becomes a coach keeps one person record and gets a player page and a coach page.
Where the sport data comes from
Teams, players, coaches, games, standings and stats come from the Competition Engine and Live Stats, not from the CMS (see Basketball and the Competition Engine). Statistics sit on the player and team pages and in the stats area.
For ELB to confirm
Open questions on the structure, as of 4 November 2026:
- The name of the games area: games, schedule or matches.
- Referee pages after launch; no address is reserved for them.
- The Code of Conduct form: who receives the email, whether reports are stored, and how closely the current form is replicated (see @v4/code-of-conduct).
Built as proposed on 21 October, so a change here is ELB's call: the category level under news, the team roster under the team's page, and coaches as an area of their own.
The interactive version of this map — with a hover card for every page and a picker that frames each section — is the EuroLeague Site Map artifact this page was made from.
